Dear Marlen,
I never thought I would be saying this, but finally I’ve completed my research paper. To be honest it feels great and I am really proud of myself. I have you to thank the most because without your support throughout this course, I don’t know if I would have made it to the end. I know you have heard this many times but one more can’t hurt. By far you are the best professor I had since I came to IUP. Reason being you made me want to come to class and complete all my assignments, blogs and book reports on time. You are truly a wonderful human being and a great role model for all us student. The assignments you gave us weekly on our blogs helped me most when it came time to put my research together. Even though in the beginning I didn’t understand how blogging was going to help me through this course. I soon found out that those weekly blogs were basically my research paper. I even go back through the blogs sometimes to see how much I have learned in relation to my research and about myself as a writer. I think those blogs were the best thing for completing this research paper and it was so easy to refer back to information versus flipping through pages of a book. I wouldn’t change anything about this Eng202 class for your future students. This class allowed me to accomplish something I never even thought about at this time in my life and I will only benefit from everything I learned in this class. I think most college students should take an intensive writing course like yours. Another thing I enjoyed about our Eng202 class was the groups we formed in the beginning of this course. It gave us a chance to meet new people and create new friendship through research writing. The peer review assignments were extremely vital in this Eng202 course. I know when I completed my first peer review assignments, it gave me different ideas about my own paper and it gave me a chance to look at my fellow peers work. Reading other classmates work put me at ease and made me realize I wasn’t the only person with writers block and a not enough works cited. I think this made me realized it’s no perfect way to complete a research paper but to try my best, get my hypothesis answered and my point across. This was a great experience for me and I’m glad that I was able to share it all with you. You are such an inspiration to me and I will never forget you!
Thanks 4 Everything
