Reflective Letter #1
Dear Marlen, so from the looks of things I’m doing okay. I’ve been gathering many different resources and I feel good about some of them. I don’t why but everyday I go up and down with this research project. I feel as though I would gain a lot from this research but I just want it to be perfect.
I have been looking for more resources because I feel like I can’t find many to compliment my research topic. They are coming close but none really hit home for me. So I was thinking about dropping the end of my topic ” Lesbian: Why do some women transition into homosexuality after having children? Reason is because I think that’s what is making my topic and little harder to find dependable sources.
I do have some good news though, I finally sent out my questionnaire to my friends and I received great feedback. There is a page on my blog (questionnaire) that I have posted the questions to, so I would love if you took a look and let me know what you think
Overall I just don’t want to let myself down or you so I’ll so the best I can. I know at times I can be very hard on myself, I want everything to be “perfect” but I have realize the more I push it off or stress out about the project the harder it becomes.
Kelly

Hey Kelly – you’re doing a great job! I’ll write more in a bit but I wanted to encourage you to not share that questionnaire with anyone yet because we haven’t really had a way to brainstorm the most sensitive and useful way to gather data. I like the questionnaire and love your enthusiasm – I’m not criticizing you in the least, just asking you to hold on a second so I can give you even more info! : ) Marlen
